How to make money with your digital camera is easier than you think.  I started taking photos this summer at one of my favorite hot weather hangout – the pier heads in South Haven, Michigan.  Jutting out into Lake Michigan, there is always a view and a cooling breeze.

There is also a great lighthouse on the south pier head.  This is where it gets good.  I sit on the north pier, facing the lighthouse, and take pictures of boats passing the big red lighthouse with it’s iron catwalk.  Boaters can’t take a picture of their own boat with the lighthouse in the background, so I do, and offer it up on my website for viewing and purchase.  Pretty cool, huh?  Sitting all relaxed, cooler full of beverages, sunscreen on, and a digital camera clicking away.

This has been an interesting venture.  I have been learning how to tweak photos, angles, light, and getting the attention of boaters so they know their photos are available on my website.
