This brand new book, Green Building Principles and Practices in Residential Construction really piqued my interest. As a former Certified Building Official, Building Inspector, and Plan Reviewer with the State of Michigan, anything to do with “green” building principles and construction practices draws me like a magnet.
Green building practices should be and are becoming part of the building codes as they are updated. This may be somewhat of a perceived hardship at first, but it will pay off in energy savings and a healthier living environment in the end.
Green Building: Principles and Practices in Residential Construction
This will become the standard for residential "green" construction practices as soon as it becomes more available, consumed by architects, designers, municipal engineers, and eevn brought into classrooms for educational purposes. It's that good.
It is not the same old re-hashed content that you see in so many books on the market. This is fresh, smart and detailed to the point that it is hard to put down. You will return to this book over and over for years to come.
I hesitated at the $100 price tag, but once you feel the heft of this quality book and read the content, you'll know it was worth the small investment. You may just feel like that young college grad leaving with his architecture degree and ready to implement some of the knowledge learn in Green Building: Principles and Practices in Residential Construction. Don't delay, get it today!
Support the environment and educate yourself on sustainable design and construction. Learn about cutting edge energy saving products. Enhance your healthy and lifestyle.
