Focus

I have a pair of what I believe to be Kai Kristiansen style Danish modern chairs. There is not a single marking to identify them as Kai Kristiansen designed chairs, but all my research sure points to the belief that they are.

Kai Kristiansen???

These Danish Modern chairs are made of teak wood and black naugahyde. The joints in the wood are impeccable! Tight and precise. There is a dime-sized cut in the naugahyde on one of the chairs, but I believe a good chair-fixer could either replace the naugahyde or, if possible, fix it.

I have seen what looked like an almost identical pair listed as Kai Kristiansen designed chairs, on Etsy.com sell for $1297.00 plus shipping. These must be pretty rare Danish Modern chairs because it is hard to find any that look like these. I have only been able to find 2 images of chairs like these online, and they both said Kai Kristiansen designed chairs.

Korup Stolefabrik is the Danish manufacturer of these chairs from all of my research – although it does lack there traditional stamp on the bottom of the seat.

I am going to put these up on Craigs List shortly for $1500.00 for the pair. But as a special to my readers of this blog, I will offer them to the first person that brings me $1100.00 cash and picks the Danish modern chairs up at my business!

My Urban Survival Kit is not used. The Mayan prophesy did not pan out, yet.  Hang on to your urban survival kit for whatever may come your way. It’s always good to be prepared. You don’t have to be an survival extremist, but it would be in your best interest to at least have a survival plan in case of disaster.

What route to take to get away on a moments notice if the warning sirens go off, where to go to meet up with family, and what to grab on the way out, are just a few of the questions I’ve had to answer.

We also get some pretty high winds, heavy snow, occasional tornado, and of course, all the crazies out in the world. So it is best to be prepared, understand what your most dangerous local disasters may be. where they may come from, and have a family evacuation plan, or survival plan in place. Once something happens, you may be without power/electricity, cell phones may be out, and communication cut off. So plan ahead. Know where each family member needs to meet so you can be together as a team.

Ozzie Ahlers – Keyboardist Elite, Killer Keyboards Made Simple

Jimmy Dillon, Rockin the Blues!
